Through training and consultation, she supports therapists in developing greater confidence and a deeper understanding of the model. She also contributes to the continued growth of Lifespan Integration through her service on the Lifespan Integration Institute Board and several LI committees.
Lifespan Integration Consultants
Lifespan Integration Consultants are experienced LI practitioners who have completed LI certification and continue to maintain their certification through the required two-year renewal process. They must also meet the professional and ethical requirements of their discipline and country.
LI Consultants provide individual or group consultation on clinical cases, protocol selection, and comprehensive LI treatment planning, including complex cases. They may review concepts and clinical applications taught through the highest level of LI training completed by the consultee. Consultants are not authorized to teach material from training levels the consultee has not yet attended. Consultation groups should clearly identify the required level of LI training.
Consultants also play an important role in the LI certification process. Certification candidates are encouraged to consult with professionals who offer varied perspectives and areas of expertise. By following cases over time, consultants can assess a candidate’s understanding and application of LI and provide informed feedback regarding readiness for certification.
Contact information is maintained in the LI directory. Use the directory link beneath each bio for current availability and contact details.

LI CONSULTANT
Emily Mullenax

Emily earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University and currently practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in trauma-informed treatment. She believes healing is supported through compassion, empowerment, and integration.
Emily recognizes that therapy is not about rewriting the past or bypassing difficult experiences with toxic positivity. Although the past cannot be changed, she helps clients make peace with what happened, become more grounded in the present, and face the future with greater confidence. Her goal is for clients to eventually graduate from treatment with the skills and insight needed to live more fully.
Integration is central to Emily’s approach. Western culture has often separated the mind, body, and spirit, which can leave people feeling disconnected or at war with themselves. Emily works to bridge these areas, helping clients develop a greater sense of wholeness and internal cohesion.
She believes that when people feel more connected to themselves, they are better able to connect securely with others. In this way, individual healing can also support meaningful change within families and communities.

Delta Sullivan

Delta is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, shame, and the many difficult experiences that shape their stories. Her passion for helping others find healing naturally led her to Lifespan Integration, a modality she has seen bring profound transformation to both clients and clinicians.
Delta earned her Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and has practiced as a counselor since 2018. Throughout her career, she has come to believe that healing happens not only through effective techniques, but also through the confidence, presence, and compassion of the therapist. That belief is at the heart of her work as a Lifespan Integration Consultant.
As a consultant, Delta creates a supportive and encouraging space where therapists can deepen their understanding of LI, strengthen their clinical skills, and grow in confidence as they integrate the modality into their practice. Whether a clinician is beginning LI training or working toward certification, she wants them to know they do not have to figure it all out alone. She recognizes that learning a new modality can feel both exciting and overwhelming and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clinicians through that process.
One of the things Delta often tells clients is, “Your story is not over yet.” She believes the same is true for therapists. Every consultation is another chapter in professional growth, with continued opportunities to learn, refine clinical skills, and become more fully the clinician each person is meant to be.
Delta considers it an honor to support therapists on their Lifespan Integration journey and to help them develop the confidence and competence to practice LI with authenticity, curiosity, and hope.
