Understanding LI Training Levels
The descriptions below explain the training and professional designations shown in the LI Therapist Directory.
| Designation | Training completed | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| LI-Trained Clinician | Levels 1–2 | Has completed, at minimum, Levels 1 and 2 of Lifespan Integration training and is eligible for listing in the LI Therapist Directory. |
| Level 4 Trained Clinician | Levels 1–4 | Has completed all four levels of LI training. Completion of all four levels does not, by itself, indicate certification. |
| Certified LI Clinician | Levels 1–4 + certification | Has completed all four training levels, personal LI therapy, required consultation while learning LI, clinical practice requirements, and a final professional review. |
| LI Consultant | Certified + consultant approval | A Certified LI Clinician who has met additional requirements over several years and is approved to provide LI consultation to other clinicians. |
Choosing an LI therapist
Training level is one factor to consider. Licensure, clinical experience, specialties, approach, availability, and the quality of the therapeutic fit are also important.
