It is strange and painful to be here, especially now. Difficult childhoods, oppressions, and traumas can weigh us down. Economic, political, and climate terrors grab our senses and imaginations.

Compassionate therapy can make a meaningful difference. Often quite quickly. I’m so glad you came looking for help.  I would be honored to be a part of your healing.

Lifespan Integration has a profound, lasting impact. Every time we think about a memory, we change it mentally. Some memories are like rip tides, we are pulled into painful unwanted patterns.

Lifespan Integration allows us to see memories with focused, guided, healing intentions. Traumatic memories can be calmed, decreasing overwhelming emotional flashbacks. We become steady, and more able to move to through the emotional waves of life.

We don’t always know exactly what harmed us. Some wounds are beyond or before language. Some are moments are too painful or private to be voiced. Thankfully, this therapeutic process does not require graphic/ detailed re-tellings. Many people keep their darkest memories untold, and still heal past them. Relief comes, sometimes stumbling, but it comes.

EMDR is another powerful technique I use in combination with LI. I find that clients can process through sexual attacks, life threatening accidents, and other life shattering moments without staying stuck in the moment. EMDR focuses, and LI brings us to the present moment of safety and calm.

Traumatic, systematic, and abuse wounds are often beyond language. Even when words are possible, traumas can be healed without detailed descriptions. EMDR, Lifespan Integration (and some others) do not require traumatic, detailed re-tellings to achieve results. Many people keep their darkest memories untold, and still heal past them.

I alternate between conscious work/talk therapy and depth work/subconscious/embodied focuses. I find that we need both body and mind, emotions and logic, to truly heal.
