Margaret Rust

I have over 30 years of experience working in various areas of the field of mental health. I specializes in complex trauma, PTSD, special needs, abuse, adoption, attachment repair, loss and grief, and life transitions. Her background and life experiences have led her to a multivariate approach when collaborating with clients and the people who support them.

I am a Certified EMDR Therapist, Lifespan Integration Therapist, trained in all 4 levels, trained in EMDR Flash,Internal Family Systems, Sensory Integration, Structural Dissociation, Neuroeducation, and Cognitive/Applied Behavior Analysis. I work with each client through a learning process anchored in movement to treat at the root cause and move beyond defense mechanisms, in order to integrate adaptive information, move towards a more balanced system, resulting in positive connections with self, and others. Margaret has been with her husband for 37 years. They have two adopted children and a biological son with severe complex neurological conditions resulting in severe developmental behaviors,emotions, social issues, and medical challenges.
In my free time, I enjoy learning, reading, painting, art, walking, hiking, gardening, playing games, and gathering together with friends and family.
